2026 - 2027 Dress Code

*All Tights & Shoes must be purchased from CDA for Pictures and Recital.

Wiggles/Tiny-Tots: Pink or black  leotard (with or without skirt), pink tights and pink ballet shoes.   Shoes and tights must be purchased through CDA. Hair must be secured back away from face in a bun or ponytail. No jewelry.

Combo Classes: Ballet-Black or Pink leotard with or without skirt, pink tights, pink ballet shoes without strings. Tap- tan matte buckle tap shoes (tan tights are worn with tan tap shoes for pictures and performances). Shoes and tights must be purchased through CDA. Hair must be secured back away from face in a bun or ponytail.  No jewelry.

Ballet (1,2,3,4 & Pointe): Black leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes or pointe shoes. Ballet-appropriate skirts and leg warmers permitted. Shoes and tights must be purchased through CDA  (please discuss pointe shoe fitting process with instructor).  Hair secured back in a bun. No jewelry.

Tap 1,2,3 & 4: Black leotard, pink or tan tights, black jazz pants or boy shorts and matte tan buckle shoes (Tap 1) or black lace-up tap shoes (Tap 2,3,4).  Shoes and tights must be purchased through CDA for pictures and recital.  No baggy or loose fitting clothing.  Hair must be secured back.  No jewelry.

Jazz 1,2,3,4/Teen Jazz/Musical Theatre:  Black leotard, pink or tan tights, black jazz pants/boy shorts.  Shoes and tights must be purchased through CDA for pictures and recital.  No baggy or loose fitting clothing.  Hair must be secured back.  No jewelry. 

Acro or TechCon: Black leotard, jazz pants or boy shorts with sport top or t shirt  and no shoes.  Hair must be secured back.  No jewelry, footed tights or baggy or loose fitting clothing. 

Lyrical/Contemporary/Modern: Black leotard, pink or tan convertible tights, black jazz pants or boy shorts.  No shoes.   No baggy or loose fitting clothing.  Hair must be secured back.  No jewelry.

Hip Hop:  Dance pants or shorts, with sport top or t-shirt.  Sneakers required.  Sneakers for recital will be chosen by teacher.  No jewelry.
